What is Reiki?
Reiki is a vibrational healing method that balances the universal life force energy, commonly referred to as qi (Chinese) or ki (Japanese). Reiki is available to anyone who has been attuned to its energy. Reiki passes from the universe into the Reiki practioner, then through the practioner's hands into the recipient. Unlike massage, no physical contact is required and the client remains fully clothed. Therefore, Reiki is comfortable for anyone, even those who do not like to be touched or disrobed.
What does Reiki do?
Reiki opens and aligns your chakras, releasing energy blocks and imbalances. This improves the flow of energy through your body to improve your overall health. Reiki operates along the same principles as acupuncture or shiatsu, but rather than using needles or pressure, healing energy is used to removed the blocks. If you are healthy, Reiki will deepen your sense of relaxation and well-being. If you are sick, Reiki will help your body heal itself and speed the healing process along.
What doesn't Reiki do?
Reiki doesn't hurt. Unlike many healing modalities (such as acupuncture, massage, or cranial sacral therapy), Reiki does not require touch or manipulation. Therefore, you will not be sore afterwards or feel sick from the treatment. Reiki is not a replacement for medical care; it is solely used as a complementary therapy.
What does Reiki feel like?
Many people feel a warm, tingling sensation during treatment. Others may feel a cool sensation. Some may not feel anything at all, but will enter a deep state of relaxation and fall asleep during treatment. A Reiki session will leave you feeling calm and refreshed.
With Reiki, you can:
*Relax
*Promote healing
*Clear negative energy
*Release blocks and past pain
*Calm your worries about the future
